The International Communications and Information Security Association (ICISA) has organized successful events of ICICS'97 in Beijing, ICICS'99 in Sydney, ICICS'01 in Xian and ICICS'02 in Singapore. To follow the progress of academic and industrial security, ICISA will continue the ICICS series and initiate a new conference series ACNS. The first MiAn International Conference on “Applied Cryptography and Network Security” (ACNS’03) will be held in Kunming, China on October 16-19, 2003, organized by MiAn (ONETS) Pte Ltd and in cooperation with the local government.

Conference Proceedings

The conference proceedings of the academic part will be published in Springer's Lecture Notes in Computer Science series and available at the conference. Industrial solution proposals will be published by ICISA in a separate proceedings and should also be available at the conference.

Instruction for Authors

Both papers and industrial solution proposals are welcome. All submissions must be anonymous, with no author names, affiliations, acknowledgements, or obvious references. It should begin with a title, a short abstract, and a list of keywords. A limit of 12 single-spaced pages of 11pt font is placed on all submissions. All submissions are via email as a MIME attachment in PDF or PS format.
In the same email, also include (in plain ASCII text format) the title and abstract, the authors' names, email and postal addresses, phone and fax numbers, and identification of the contact author.

An acknowledgment email will be sent to the corresponding author upon receiving each submission. The authors are advised to send an inquiry to the email address used in submission if they do not receive the acknowledgement by May 20, 2003.

The authors of all submissions are urged to comply with the Springer’s authors instructions which are accessible from http://www.springer.de/comp/lncs/authors.html.
